Our mission
To contribute to National security, socio-economic and political development of the country by identifying, registering and issuing cards to Kenyan citizens of age 18 years and above, and to maintain a comprehensive register for use by stakeholders and other agencies.

Our aim is to turn around public service delivery by providing efficient and accessible Government services at the convenience of citizens through various integrated service delivery platforms.
Initial Registration
Application of initial IDs are done at the National Registration Bureau offices countrywide - usually located within County Commissioners offices or Chiefs camp.
Issuance of Duplicate Identity Card.

Change of particulars
Persons holding an ID card can change from one civil status to another e.g. Change of name upon marriage, change of location, additional name etc.
Issuance of Duplicate Identity Card.
A waiting card is issued to the applicant upon successful application and shall be surrendered when collecting the processed ID card
